For all of you that don't know, I'm Shelby, the Owner and Lead Planner behind Shelby Your Day Events (also, the writer of this cool new blog). I swear... I still get a chuckle every time I say the name of my business out loud... I suppose that is a good thing though right... your business should make you happy if you're doing it right!

Five years ago now, I remember trying and trying to come up with the right name for this business and utterly failing again and again lol, it was nevvvver perfect (something blue this... borrowed blue that... something & co...). Then one day my man just off the cuff said, "Shelby Your Day Events, where it shall always be your day," and I died laughing as it was so punny and corny, but then it just clicked, it doesn't have to be perfect... and that is when Shelby Your Day Events was born.

Now... here we are... five years following that silly conversation and I realize that I have so much knowledge to give perspective clients but also just couples that are getting married in general. With that... is the start to this blog you see here! A place where you can ask questions and hopefully find answers to your burning wedding planning queries, and also maybe an entertaining place for a story or two.
